Bugaboo is committed to following national legal requirements for labor, health and safety. We keep to compulsory standards and relevant applicable international conventions, including internationally recognized labor standards, plus other applicable industrial and international conventions.  

To safeguard the health and safety of our employees and within our value chain Bugaboo has set up our Social Accountability Policy as follows:  

• Motivate employees, make sure they feel stable at work, and provide plenty of development opportunities. 
• Make sure all employees are thoroughly protected in the workplace. 
• Create a culture of respect and eliminate discrimination.  
• Encourage open communication for all. 
• Strictly prohibit forced labor. 
• Challenge vendors to maintain the highest standards across our supply chain. 
• Optimize systems and drive continuous improvement in the business.

Every department needs to communicate our Social Accountability Policy clearly so that all our employees are fully aware and onboarded. Our policy is available and accessible to all interested parties and is externally audited once a year.  

Big progress is made one small step at a time. We know that we will get there –both as a business and as a global community. Our first major leap is reducing the emissions from our pram production by 40% – which we can achieve by 2026, by switching to lower-carbon options across materials such as plastics, fabrics and aluminium.

We are lowering our carbon footprint by reducing our CO2 emissions – this is not about offsetting. We are publicly accountable via science-based targets (SBTi).

Absolutely. We want all parents and caretakers to feel confident and free in their journey through parenthood. We do this through organisations that are dedicated to humanitarian need. Our support includes the well-being of children and families. It ranges from hospitals to womens’ shelters, SOS childrens’ villages to refugee camps and orphanages.
